| Abstract: | Lexical cohesion is non-structural cohesive means and one of the cohesive mechanisms leading to text coherence.The paper probes into the functions of lexical cohesion in text coherence and the relationship between lexical cohesion and text coherence.The paper also discusses how the strategies of the lexical cohesion theory are put into use in college English teaching of text. |
