大学英语分级教学的弊端与对策

摘    要:分级教学是根据学生个体的实际情况把各专业原有的自然班分成不同层次进行英语教学的一种新的教学模式。这种模式因充分考虑了学生的个体差异而更有利于学生各取所需,从而为全面提高教学效果奠定了基础。但它同时也带来了一些负面影响,比如挫伤部分学生学习的积极性、易于造成学生学习效果两极分化等。文章分析了大学英语分级教学模式的弊端,并对其不利因素提出了相应的解决办法。

Abstract:College English grade teaching is a new teaching model, which divides students of different majors into advanced class and less advanced classes based on their English levels and to be taught in different methods. Since it pays sufficient attention to students' individual differences, this model enables students to learn in accordance with their own needs so as to lay down a sound foundation for improving the teaching effectiveness. However, it has also demonstrated such negative effects as dampening some students'learning enthusiasm, or causing growing polarity between students in their study. The paper discusses the disadvantages of grade teaching are discussed and their corresponding solutions are put forward in this paper.
