百年吴趼人小说研究述评

近百年来的吴趼人小说研究经历了20世纪前20年的滥觞期，20—40年代的学术奠基期，50—70年代的泛政治化与狭隘化时期及80年代以来的复苏与发展期，积淀下了较为丰硕的研究成果。然而迄今为止的吴趼人小说研究之整体水平还不高，这一研究现状与吴趼人作为晚清首屈一指的小说大家的地位很不相称。

A Review of 100-years Studies on Wu Jianren's Fictional Creation

The 100-years studies of WU Jian-ren's fictional creation have undergone 4 major periods: the casual and disordered research in the first 20 years of the 20th century, the 1920-40s' academic foundation, the 1950-70s' pan-politicization and narrow-mindedness and the 1980s' awakening and development, which has brought about fruitful results. However, the present state of research is by no means satisfactory, taking into account Wu's literary reputation as the top novelist in the late Qing dynasty.
