| 摘 要： | 菲利普·罗斯的《普通人》彰显出强烈的死亡意识。小说刻画了主人公在面临死亡时焦虑、恐惧的心态,也叙述了主人公力图超越死亡的心路历程,这一切都体现了罗斯在哲学意义上的"先行到死"的观点。这种观点与德国哲学家海德格尔对死亡的看法是相通的。"先行到死"观源自于罗斯自身的犹太性,其最终意旨是"超越死亡"。

| Abstract: | The novel Everyman written by Philip Roth is permeated with strong death consciousness.The novel depicts the protagonist's anxiety and fear facing death and mental activity of trying to transcend death,in which Roth's view of obtaining mental freedom for death is embodied.The view is in accordance with Heidegger's on death.The view of Roth is from his Jewishness.In addition,the ultimate aim of obtaining mental freedom for death is to transcend death. |
