| 摘 要： | 在小说《更多的人死于伤心》中,索尔·贝娄抓住并模仿了盛行美国社会之中的犬儒主义者话语模式的显著特点,运用戏仿的手法极力夸大了犬儒主义者的彻底无情和无所不在,使小说中的犬儒主义者如同小说开始时提到的漫画中的人物那样荒唐可笑,不可理喻,从而达到对它进行批判的目的.

| Abstract: | In one of Saul Bellow's most important works 《More Die at Heartbreak》,he captures the major features of cynicism and imitated cynicism pervading in the American society.Through the use of parodies,Bellow exaggerated the total mercilessness and omnipresence of cynicism to present cynics as ridiculous and unreasonable as seen in the cartoon at the very beginning of the novel to achieve his ultimate criticism of cynicism. |
