Abstract:As a major mark reflecting a learner' s Japanese language competency,reading plays an extremely important role in learning process. Based on an analysis of advantages and disadvantages of Japanese teaching, this paper probes into an application of the textual teaching approach in the reading class, which also embodies three aspects, i. e. vocabulary, sentence and context. The final aim is to improve his or her language skills.
