| Abstract: | The function and position of the blank spaces in layout design of sci-tech periodicals are described from some view points of the relationship between the whole and arrangement of scientific papers, and the stereo-scope effect for the visual sense of readers. How to use the blank spaces appropriately in the layout design is also discussed. |
