| 摘 要： | 《J.阿尔弗瑞德·普鲁弗洛克的情歌》同艾略特的其他作品一样晦涩难懂,要理解诗歌主人公普鲁弗洛克的性格特点难度较大.除了仔细推敲诗歌主体,还可以从诗歌的题辞和艾略特等人的艺术作品创作与批评理论两个方面寻求线索.此诗开头的题辞有提示普鲁弗洛克性格特点的作用,从吉多身上可以反射出普鲁弗洛克的性格.从作者等人的艺术作品创作与批评理论出发还可以进一步得出普鲁弗洛克的性格特点与作者的性格特点截然相反的结论.

| Abstract: | The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock is difficult to understand,and it is even more difficult to understand the character of its hero Prufrock. Apart from the body of the poem, clues can be traced from its epigraph and the critical theory of Eliot and others. The epigraph offers great help in understanding the character of Prufrock as the character of Guido mirrors that of Prufrock. A further conclusion is based on the critical theory that the character of Prufrock is totally different from that of Eliot. |
