摘    要:高校外事工作是教育国际化进程中现代高校参与国际竞争的窗口。高校外事管理干部是“多面手”,具有多元发展前途,大多具有较高层次的精神追求,自我实现的需要强烈。外事管理中运用激励机制、采取多样化的激励措施,如岗位激励、机会激励、物质和精神激励等,对于充分调动外事干部的工作积极性和创造性、提高外事管理水平和效益、推动高校工作的全面发展具有十分重要的作用。

Abstract:Foreign affairs management showcases a university's participation in international competition. The staff doing international affairs plays an "all - rounder" role in the process of internationalization of education. Due to professional requirements, the staff at university setting tends to have higher - level needs, stronger pursuit of career success and accomplishment of self - value as well as multi - dimensional development possibilities. The application of incentive mechanism, i.e. position incentive, opportunity incentive, material incentive and non -material incentive on university'S foreign affairs management, can help motivate the staff'S working creativity, hence, to enhance the efficiency of foreign affairs management and to push for a greater progress in university's overall management capacity and development.
