The comprehensive rule of law in the new era needs a broader practical path,college students are the main force of the future construction of the motherland,in order to achieve the goal of rule of law,we must strengthen the cultivation of college students'awareness of rule of law.This paper briefly describes the internal relationship between ideological and political education and legal education,points out the specific problems existing in the current college students'legal education,and from improving the proportion of legal education in ideological and political education,using various ways to enhance students'subjectivity,using new media technology to broaden the channels of legal education,pay attention to integrating theory with practice,carry out legal education in practical activities,and explore the specific strategies for colleges and universities to cultivate college students'awareness of the rule of law.
