Abstract:Multimodal input can effectively promote writing teaching from the level of language application to the level of creative ability guidance and development,and essentially improve students'thinking activity in second language writing.This paper analyzes the influence of input mode on college students'second language writing content creation through qualitative and quantitative research.Using the measurement indicators,this study compares and analyzes the creativity of college students'writing content under the three input modes of"text+video",video and text,it is found that the creativity of composition content under multimodal input is better than that under single-mode input in terms of fluency,novelty,flexibility and richness.
