英汉言语幽默与合作原则

美国哲学家格赖斯(Grice)认为合作原则是语言交际的一条根本原则。幽默是人类语言与智慧高度发展的产物。H以一些英汉言语幽默为例,论述在实际语言交际的过程中,为了达到特殊的幽默效果,幽默语言发出者往往在总体遵守合作原则的前提下有意违反合作原则中的某一项准则。

Chinese and English Language Humors and the Cooperative Principle

American philosopher Grice suggests that language activity,most typically,is a kind of rational and purpose social interaction governed by the Cooperative Principle.Humor is the product of the high development of human language and wisdom.This thesis attempts to discuss in the actual language interaction,the speakers often violate some maxim of the Cooperative Principle deliberately in order to achieve humorous effects.
