慧琳《一切经音义》中的假借

唐释慧琳《一切经音义》中有一些明确注明“假借”的语言材料。慧琳所谓假借，包括三个方面的内容：(一)字学意义上的假借，所谓“本无其字，依声托事”；(二)训诂学意义上的假借，所谓“本有其宇，依声托事”；(三)词汇学意义上的假借，所谓词义引申。这或许亦是许氏“假借”的题中之义．

Jiajie"假借" in Hui Lin' s the sound and meaning of the Tripitaka

There are some language materials in the sound and meaning of the Tripitaka compiled by Hui Lin. They are marked Jiajie definitely. In Hui Lin' s consideration, Jiajie is defined as follows: (1) Jiajie is a concept of philology. It means a sense is expressed by lending a character that expresses originally other sense. (2) Jiajie is a concept of exegetics. It means a sense is expressed by not A character but B character, only because the sounds of the two characters are alike. (3) Jiajie is a concept of lexicology. It means the sense expressed by a character which is extended from the character's original meaning. They may be the inherent meaning of Jiajie that Xu Shen defines.
