Contemporary Value of Zhou Dun -yi's Thoughts

Zhou Dun-yi deduces the theory that "men are noble" from the th eory of universe evolvement. The theories of ethics based on "sincerity" are as follows: without desire, people could live a peaceful life; to punish the evils is to calm the desires; it's good overcoming the shortcoming and learning from o thers, ruling the country should depend on the law and persons of virtue.
