| Abstract: | Starting from the exploration of the essence of the effective teaching and its essential prin-ciples and through the example of Unit One of College Experiencing English （the third edition）, the ar-ticle attempts to classify that the thematic teaching is the most effective approach in college English class, taking the teacher as a guide and the students as the main body. It is a valid teaching mode to a-chieve the goal of college English teaching when accompanied by students＇ extra-curricular autonomous learning and reflective learning. |
