黄遵宪与晚清孔教活动——黄遵宪理性主义中西文化观研究

戊戌变法前后,康有为发起保儒教活动,提出将儒家改造成西方式宗教(儒教)的主张。这个主张引起时人激烈的争论。黄遵宪以其理性主义中西文化观的态度提出,儒学是中国传统文化的重要组成部分,而传统文化是民族复兴的思想资源,但他反对把儒学变成有宗教设施、组织、教义和祭祀活动的“儒教”。他认为只有积极吸收西学,合中、西、新、旧之学,批判地继承中国的传统文化,才能真正促进中国的学术文化的发展,并进而担负起挽救民族危机的重任。黄遵宪的理性主义中西文化观在今天仍有积极的意义。

On Huang Zun-xian and the Activities Confucianism Protection in the Late Qing Dynasty——A Research of Huang Zun-Xian's Rational View of Sino-west Culture

In the time of the Reform of 1898,Kang You-wei set up the activities of protecting Confucianism.He suggested to transform Confucianism to Confucius religion.This led to a sharp conflict.As a cultural rationalist, Huang Zun-xian thought Confucianism was an important component of Chinese traditional culture.And traditional culture was the idea resource of national rejuvenation.But he objected to transforming Confucianism to Confucius religion with canon and doctrine.He said we must absorb west culture,melt Sino-west culture,ancient and modern culture together,then we could establish real Chinese culture nowadays,and we could realize national rejuvenation based on it.Huang Zun-xian′s rational view of Sino-west culture has great implications in present China.
