Revision of International Standards of Thesaurus and Its Influence on Terminology Services Based on Knowledge Organization

In the revision of International Standard of Thesaurus, many clauses newly added are related to terminology service, which was thoroughly analyzed after a brief summarization of its development. Then, the effect of the revision of International Standard of Thesaurus on the future development of terminology services is explored based on the status quo of terminology services based on knowledge organization systems, which are reflected in three aspects: ①promoting the standardized development of terminology services based on knowledge organization; ②facilitating the application of Terminologies in the terminology services based on knowledge organization; ③stimulating the coordination between the development of terminology services based on knowledge organization and terminology work.
