| 摘 要： | 近年来教师信念的问题逐渐受到国内教育界的关注，但山区地方大学的大学英语教师的信念却鲜少研究。通过对闽北山区的四位大学英语教师进行访谈和课堂观察，结果发现山区的大学英语教师普遍更新了传统的教师信念，但在实际课堂教学中存在着教师信念与教学实践不一致的现象，并对此提出了进行教师教育和培训的建议。
