| Abstract: | The Historical Geography of the World by the reformist official of late Qing dynasty Xu Ji-she emended an array of new terminology for the translation of the Western concepts, touching upon such substantives as in the sphere of geography, materials, politics etc., thus claimed the honor of being the preexistence of modern terminology and contributed remarkably to the spread of western science and technology. |
