| 摘 要： | The writer analyzes the origlm of idioms and studies the simile and metaphor in them.Then,from the viewpoint of semiotics, the writer states how to tnmslate idioms to the target language to enmre the acceptability of the translation and stresses that it is crucial fur a writer to increase his accomplishments in several aspects in order to im-prove the effectiveness of the Ranslaficaa.
