精英要精 通才要才

大众化教育时期，必须正确处理好精英教育与通才教育之间的关系。现代的精英教育，它应当体现的是一种大众化平台上的高层次的“质”的教育，即建立在高深学问基础之上，培养处于知识学习和研究的最尖端、最前沿，并具有健全心智和完整个人的高素质人才的高标准教育；而通才教育的目的是为了培养具有宽广的知识视野的人，它是每一个个体个性培养、能力塑造、独立发展所必需的。因此，通才教育是每一种教育类型的基础环节，特别对培养精英人才，其意义更显重要。针对当前我国高等教育中“精英不精，通才不才”的状况，我国高等教育应当对大学进行科学定位与分层，树立多元化的高等教育质量观，并积极推动课程体系改革。
