On the Cruel Plunder Caused by the Large Scale Mining and Taxation in the Wanli Era of the Ming Dynasty and Its Influence |

| Abstract: | Stimulated by the highly-developed commodity economy, the ShenZong Emperor of the Ming Dynasty sent large groups of eunuchs to open up mines and impose taxes all over the country, and coolected amounts of wealth. These eucuchs cruelly esploited in order to continuously present gold, silver and other valuables to the emperor, thus greatly damaged the economy of that time. |
