| 摘 要： | 左宗棠在西北期间，对振兴新疆的化教育十分关注，从广设义塾，普及教育；刊发书籍，传播学术；引进匠师、推广技术等方面入手，兴办了具有鲜明地方特色的教育、教学模式，启动了新疆基础教育的改革进程。很值得今人总结与借鉴。
