| 摘 要： | 汉语经常使用具体形象的词语来表达抽象概括的概念。在汉译英实践中，对词义进行抽象化处理是获得理想译文的一种有效方法。从分析汉英思维方式、语言结构和文化三方面的差异入手，通过详尽的译例，探讨了词义抽象化在汉译英中的具体运用。

| Abstract: | In Chinese,some concrete words with images are used for abstract meanings,and it is an effective way to translate those words with abstract English ones.Based on the analysis of differences in thinking patterns,language structures and cultural background between Chinese and English,with detailed examples,the application of abstraction of word meaning is explored. |
