| 摘 要： | 本文首先阐述了关联理论对翻译的诠释,指出翻译是一个涉及大脑机制的推理过程,是一种言语交际行为;翻译应该是一种三元关系:原文作者、译者和译文读者;交际的成功取决于原文作者的意图能否被译文读者所认识。然后基于关联理论所阐述的翻译的推理交际这一本质,分析解读出翻译等值只能是相对而言的,进一步印证了关联理论对翻译本体论和方法论的强大的解释力。

| Abstract: | According to Sperber and Wilson's relevance theory and E.A.Gutt s relevance-theoretic approach,translation is an ostensive inferential communication between the SL writer and the translator and the TL readers.A key issue affecting the successful communication is the translator s aim.The translator should do his best to transfer messages so that the TL readers may get a message as close as possible to what the SL readers get.Based on all these, this paper reviews the processes and patterns of translation and concludes that the relevance theory can clarify the most controversial concept equivalence and explain the reason why the complete equivalence is impossible and equivalence just means the closest possible equivalence. |
