| Abstract: | To the Lighthouse is a prominent novel that probes the signifinance of life and pursues the brilliant future. Through a close-reading to the novel, along with analyzing the author's life experience and milieu, the essay points out that the author denies the emotional world and affirms the rational world and the artistic world. |
