陈子展与中国近代文学史建构

作为最早以＂史＂出现的两部主要属于近代文学研究领域的文学史专著,陈子展的《中国近代文学之变迁》和《最近三十年中国文学史》在中国近代文学史建构历程中有着重要的学术史意义。尽管其文学史观明显受胡适《五十年来中国之文学》影响,由于其所具有的独立不倚的学术品格和无征不信的严谨学风,又使其在许多方面超越了胡著,得出许多创见,并以其长久的学术生命力或明或暗地参与了与其后逐渐建构起来的近代文学史的对话,为推进近代文学研究走向深入、全面和公正,作出了不可替代的历史贡献。

Chen Zizhan and the Construction of the History of Modern Chinese Literature

As two of the earliest works on the history of modem Chinese literature, Transformations of Modern Chinese Literature and History of Chinese Literature in the Past Thirty Years by Chen Zizhan are of great academic values in the construction of the history of modem Chinese literature. Though his ideas about literary history gain influence from Hu Shi＇s Chinese Literature in the Past Fifty Years, with his independent quality and rigorous attitude Chen transcends Hu on many aspects, and comes up with many new ideas. Chen Zizhan, with his long academic vitality, both directly and indirectly participated in the dialogue with history of modem literature gradually constructed after him. He has made an irreplaceable contribution to leading modem literary study to depth, comprehensiveness, and justice.
