In order to study the students' mentality in the course of implementing the new curriculum in senior high school,we have adopted self-edited questionnaire called "Questionnaire of the Survey on the Students' Mentality in the Course of Implementing the New Curriculum in Senior High School" for the survey on nearly 500 students in Grade One in the city of Yancheng in Jiangsu Province.The results show that students basically support the new curriculum,but they have certain mental pressure on the reform of new curriculum;part of the students are lack of understanding on the reform of new curriculum;they are not adapted to the evaluation mode of the new curriculum;the development of the way of self-regulated learning and exploring learning is facing difficulty and the current way of university entrance examination influences the progress of the reform of new curriculum to a certain extent.
