| 摘 要： | 民办高等学校现在已经成为我国高等教育体系中的重要组成部分。首先分析了民办高等学校的重要作用，然后又分析了现阶段民办高等学校和发展面临的挑战，在此基础上提出政府应该采取各种相应手段来保护和支持民办高等学校发展。从民办高校现状入手．引出政府资助这个话题，意在说明“民办公助”的重要性，并探讨了政府资助的几种途径。
