| Abstract: | Based on the research into the community-based classroom teaching in the Damin School for the Mentally Retarded in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, this article discusses the theoretical basis and connotations of commtmity-based classroom teaching in schools for the mentally retarded, the construction of the people-orient- ed community-based teaching system, the teaching model combining classroom teaching and the community, and the protection mechanism for classroom teaching in the community. |
