| Abstract: | The rise of the despot stratum in southern China during the last stage of Liang Dynasty and the initial stage of Chen Dynasty was an outstanding phenomenon . Not succeeding in transforming its former status and regional identity into a higher degree completely ,the stratum became the divisive and turbulencing factor instead of the supporting force as far as the regime was concerned .Nevertheless ,the unschoolar-official stratum imposed such tiptop influence on the power centre of Chen Dynasty that had never been achieved since Dong-jin Dynasty. |
