高校独立学院学生大学英语教材课后阅读可控性探赜——以南通大学杏林学院为例

以南通大学杏林学院为研究对象,在大学英语教学实践过程中,分析了高校民办独立学院学生特点及英语学习方面存在的普遍问题并提出对策。结合常规的英语课堂教学,对学生课后阅读意识进行培养及阅读任务布置并形成严格的检测机制有利于提高学生的阅读理解能力,从而从根本上达到提高学生英语综合技能的目标。通过对南通大学杏林学院的学生的英语学习特点进行研究,论证阅读是提高英语能力的最有效途径之一,对全国兄弟院校的民办学院学生英语学习具有积极的指导意义。

On the Control of Independent College Students' English Textbook Reading Consciousness

In recent years,we have seen a quite remarkable expansion of enrolling number of independent colleges,which has created a new challenge for all the concerned parts,and English teachers are included inevitably.Since the students thus enrolled is at a disadvantage in terms of their English basic skills.How to improve their English levels to the national required standards within the attendance of 2-year English course is not only a must but also an incentive for all the English teachers in this field.The thesis is right an attempt to do something under such a severe background,which put forward to a new reading strategy for after-class activities,which has also witnessed its inspiring achievement during the 2-year practice.Therefore,it is of some great value for all the concerned teachers to take a sip into it and the author is inviting and expecting some constructive and pertinent ideas on this issue.
