| Abstract: | The characteristics of the coinage of pictographs can be generalized as entirety,visibility and concreteness.According to the structural elements,pictographs can be classified as whole pictographs,semi pictographs and minute pictographs.The way to coin the pictographs has had an important standing in the development of Chinese characters. |
