| Abstract: | This paper attempts to probe into the factors which influence on the translators' adaptation and selection from the perspectives of source text and translator by employing the core concepts of the approach to translation as Adaptation and Selection(TAS) and Eco-translatology,with a view to evaluating a translator's selection in historic context of translation and helping enriching the achievement of research on classic translation. |
