杜威教育思想在日本

Dewey's Educational Thoughts in Japan

As a famous educator in the world, modern American educator Dewey' s educational thoughts have had the important influence in Japan. Through Japanese researchers' positive dissemination about Dewey,Dewey's visiting Japan by himself,and translation and publication of Dewey's works,the influence of Dewey' s educational thoughts in Japan were begun from the beginning of the 20th century until after the Second World War. Dewey's influence was displaid both in Japanese educational thoughts and in Japanese educational practice. This article was tried to discuss the tracks of influence of Dewey' s educational thoughts to Japan, from Dewey's educational thoughts' early influence in Japan, Dewey's travel in Japan, the development of Dewey's educational thoughts in Japan between 1920s and 1930s,and "Dewey Boom" after the Second World War.
