| 摘 要： | 晚清新教入传中国后,传教士们发其悯心,以基督博爱胸怀,设学办校,救济盲人。以盲文教习盲人识字,又授之以各种技艺,实现其生活自养。尽管以传播宗教为主旨,但这项活动本身在中国的现代化进程中具有首创性意义。

| Abstract: | The Protestants that came to China in the Late Qing Dynasty founded some schools for the blind to save and help them.They taught the blind Braille system and various technics in order to live by themselves.Although it is the first motive to circulate the religion,the activity made Chinese new way on educating the blind in the process of modernism in modern China. |
