Last summer, I and a posse of Internet colleagues visited the downtown Los Angeles set of Cradle 2 the Grave. Cast and crew were shooting in a building near skid row, and the mood was all about upscale underground lowlifes and nonstop action. The huge scene was an illegal strongman competition, with extras dressed as cool cats and fast women, all gathered around a fenced-in fighting ring surrounded by leather booths (棚子) and various limos(豪华轿车), Ferraris, Porsches and tricked-out BMWs.
