| Abstract: | The imagery in expressionism context of Chinese ancient literature theory refers to, according to the relationship between literature and its author, discussion literature imagery to form representation. Therefore, representation is closely related to imagery. Meanwhile, it also shows the feature of representation and imagery in Chinese classical literature, which achieves the same result by different means in expressionism context of western modern literature theory. From this point, literature theory based on representation and imagery, regardless of ancient or modern, Chinese or western, is great significant to reconstruct modern literature theory system. |
