The "Special Buildings" particularly refer to three residence flats located in the north of current North Fourth Ring near Zhong Guan Cun,Beijing.Focus on the history of these buildings and the irresidents,this article reveals from a specific perspective the development of modern and contemporary sciences in China,as well as the circumstances that some leading Chinese scientists and relevant people had experienced in their lives during the second half of the twentieth century.
