| 摘 要： | 英语复合词法是重要的构词法。在认知语言学研究成果的基础上,研究几类英语合成名词的语义及其认知模式,指出它易于通过隐喻扩展词义,易于使学生培养在语境中理解此类名词词义的能力。

| Abstract: | English compound is a major method of word formation. This paper, based on the early research results of semanticism and cognitive linguistics, makes a study on the semantic meanings and cognitive models of English compound nouns, pointing out that it can enlarge word meaning through metaphor. It suggests that the students should cultivate the ability to understand the meanings of this kind in the context. |
