| Abstract: | After the outbreak of Xi'an Incident, local warlords from different motives, made clear their attitudes towards the Incident, which became the important forces that influenced the development of the Incident. As one of the most powerful local warlords, Yan Xishan showed extraordinary concern for the Incident, and intended to achieve his personal motives, which failed for some reasons. |
