| 摘 要： | SWOT分析是一种对企业的优势、劣势、机会和威胁的分析，文中对SWOT方法做了简单的介绍，并结合其理论对中国远程教育发展环境进行了SWOT分析，探讨目前中国远程教育发展环境的状况，列出SWOT矩阵，据此提出当前中国的远程教育发展应主要采取扭转性策略，应从开拓办学渠道、借鉴国外远程教育管理经验、完善监督管理机制、注重远程教育质量、加强对教师远程教育教学经验的培养、进一步提升教学支持服务水平等方面来制定相关的发展战略，有助于我国远程教育的可持续发展。
