| 摘 要： | 从某种意义上说，王熙凤和蓓基·夏泼是一对孪生姊妹。她们都非常美丽、聪明、能干，都是伶牙俐齿，幽默诙谐，逞强好胜，爱出风头。她们千方百计地想施展自己的抱负才干，从而显示和证明自身的能力与价值。她们都是利己主义者，具有强烈的权势欲、金钱欲，为了获取钱财，可以不择手段，将伦理道德抛掷九霄云外。她们的行为举止、性格情操、信念欲望及其在上流社会的生活历程反映出中英两国社会文化习俗和道德价值观念的异同。

| Abstract: | WANG Xi-feng and Becky Sharp are the two heroines of Dream in the Red Mansion of Red Chambers and Vanity Fair.Through discussing their manner and behavior,disposition and sentiment,and belief and desire,through comparing their capabilities and personalities as strong women,and through analyzing their life and experience in the upper society,this paper aims at revealing the different cultures,customs,morals and values of the Chinese and British nations,and shedding light on the natural endowments and artistic skills of CAO Xue-qin and Thackeray. |
