| 摘 要： | 汉译新闻史著作《泰西新报源流表》,在松本君平《新闻学》汉译本出版之前的1898年已经刊行;1903-1904年间,坊间还可以见到《报章源流》一书。这两部译作与松本君平的《新闻学》和休曼的《应用新闻学》一起,在19世纪末、20世纪初开始了对中国人的历史、理论和应用新闻学的最初的启蒙。
