| Abstract: | Basing himself on the three-dimensional theory, HU Guo-heng makes a penetrating critique of the Chinese society distinctive of the tradition of valuing virtue in that he points out the alienation tragedy of the virtue-valuing society and the significance of the rational element contained in it to the Chinese modernization construction. Based on the three dimensional theory, his generalization and critique of the characteristics of the traditional Chinese culture provide us with a new mode of thinking and a new angle of view in doing researching work on the traditional Chinese culture. |
