从历史上的西安咸阳政区划分看两市合并

自秦孝公设置咸阳县一直到1949年,大约经历了2300年。西安咸阳在同一个县级或地级政区的管辖之下持续时间达1900年左右,而分属两个不同政区的管辖时间只有400年左右。西安咸阳近在咫尺,这种地缘政治已经把它们紧密地连在了一起。从目前形势和长远利益看,都有必要把咸阳市区划归西安市,促进两市共同发展,达到双赢的目的。
