| 摘 要： | 从16世纪中叶开始,耶酥会士携天主教先后进入日本与中国.处于战国末期"下克上"风潮中的日本是由"轻文重武"的武士阶层所主导的封建割据社会,中国则是"重文轻武"的士大夫所主导的中央集权社会.中国明末社会与日本战国末期的社会背景不同,两国深层的社会政治传统也大相其异,迫使远东耶酥会采取了不同的传教策略,这种"因国制宜"的传教策略其实也就是中日两国传统文化相异所催生的结果.

| Abstract: | Catholism was introduced to ancient Japan and China in sequence by the Society of Jesus since the middie of 16 century. At that time, Japan was a feudal society in which the palaces guards who advocated military played an important role. Contrarily, China was a central government in which the scholar bureaucrats who advocated literature were the leading governors. Differences in traditional society backgrounds between Qing Dynasty of China and Warring States of Japan resulted in the deep differences in political tradition between the two nations, forcing the Society of Jesus adapted different preaching strategies, which was the result of the culture gap between the two nations. |
