六朝江南农业技术两题

对于“火耕水耨”的理解历来有不同的观点,而比较接近实际的理解,其就是指南方山地和平原湖泊区两种生产方法,据此可知六朝江南农业发展主要体现为在湖泊山林开发基础上耕地面积的扩大,技术进步并不是六朝江南农业发展的主要因素。其中东晋南朝时期旱作的日渐推广,对于南方的山地开发有着重要的意义。

On Two Aspects of Agricultural Technology in the Lower Yangtze Valley in China During the Six Dynasties

The paper sorts out different views on rice breeding techniques (i.e. burn seedling and water weeding). And it analyzes the significance of dry farming in the period of the Six Dynasties . The author holds that the progress of agriculture in the lower Yangtze Valley is reflected in the expansion of farm lands due to the cultivation of lakes, mountains and forests and that the progress of techniques is not the reason for agricultural development in the lower Yangtze Valley during the Six Dynasties.
