摘    要:认知学习理论认为,教学的任务是通过指导学生完成最恰当的认知过程来促使学生最好地使用其认知结构,从而使认知结构得到最恰当的发展.建构主义学习理论突出了学习者的主体作用.在大学英语教学中,除了使学生掌握基本的英语语言知识和技能,更重要的是培养学生的英语创新思维能力.在教学过程中,教师要调动学生思维,使学生学会学习.主动参与是创新学习的前提和基础,是学生自主学习的一种能力.

Abstract:Cognitive theories say the teaching target is to spur the students to make the best use of cognition structure by guiding them to fulfill the most appropriate cognition process.So the cognition structure can develop appropriately.Constructivist theories emphasize the learners' leading role.In college English teaching,in addition to master basic language knowledge and skills,the more important task is to foster the students' creative thinking ability.Teachers should motivate the students' thinking in the process of teaching.Active participation is the premise and basis of creative study,which is an ability of independent study for the students.
