地方师范院校英语专业二年级学生词汇习得的实证研究

摘    要:本文通过词汇量和词汇水平测试及词汇学习策略问卷调查,研究了地方师范院校英语专业二年级学生词汇习得的现状及策略使用倾向,结果表明:(1)地方师范院校英语专业二年级学生词汇量及词汇水平还亟待提高;(2)学生有一定的策略运用意识,能有效运用一些包括补偿策略、认知策略、记忆策略等在内的多种策略来学习英语词汇;(3)词汇学习策略和词汇量、词汇水平之间都存在显著的相关性;(4)词汇学习成功者和不成功者在词汇量、词汇水平和词汇学习策略方面均有较大差别。

Abstract:Through a test of vocabulary size and level and a survey on vocabulary learning strategies,this paper studies the general situation of vocabulary acquisition and the main tendency of learning strategies employed by English sophomores in local normal colleges.The result of data analysis shows that,1)vocabulary size and level of English sophomores in local normal colleges need to be improved rapidly;2) students have a certain consciousness of using strategies and they can use such strategies as compensation,cognitive and memory in their vocabulary learning;3) there is a significant correlation between vocabulary learning strategies and their vocabulary size and level;4) there is a distinct difference in vocabulary size,level and learning strategies between vocabulary learning successes and failures.
